Could it be??? (update - AF related)

I stopped taking BCP last month and started the prenatals. Basically I am waiting to see if my AF can regulate on a 28 day cycle on its own. I was on the pill for 8 years and it was very irregular back then. BUT I feel all the symptoms of AF and during the time I should have been ovulating I felt all those symtoms too. Could I really be this lucky for my body to regulate this quickly?? I hope so because then it will be so much easier to TTC next month. Keep your fingers crossed that AF shows up in the next 3 days.

I went off BCP in February and I have gotten AF every month since. While I was on the BCP, I would have the regular 28 day cycle.

Since being off, from Feb-July, I would get my AF on a 23-24 day cycle. Then starting in July, I would spot on the 24th day, and I wouldn't get a heavy flow until about the 28th day.

That has been my pattern. I had some strange pain in my lower abdomin and I had two sonograms and both were normal and the DR could see both times which ovary I ovulated from. So my body regulated ok. He also said it is fine to have a 24 day cycle. Basically, that gives me an extra chance each year to get pregnant! we shall see. I will start TTC in March 2007 -

I went off BCP in July and went right into a textbook 28 day cycle.

We weren't trying until September and just got a BFP last Thursday.

Mine was normal for the first 2 months and then my 3rd cycle was 41 days long and I think this one is going to a be a long one too. I should have ovulated by now but I havent - no CM or anything yet...so annoying!

same thing happened with me.. I felt all the symtoms and then did NOT get it....Im a week late

mine regulated quickly. one short cycle, then a normal 28 day cycle.

I got AF tonight!!

So 1 more month and then I will be actively TTCing.

I am confused... the AF that appeared exactly in 28 days ended 2 days later. What does that mean? That my cycle isnt regulated?

I'm jealous! This was also my first full month off of BC and I have yet to see AF

it could mean very little. some months my AF stayed for 10 days and some months she stayed only 2-3 days. the best advice i can give you is this: DON'T SWEAT ALL THIS STUFF. the less you "care" or pay attention to "signals" you are at your most fertile, the easier it is to get pregnant. in fact, i would just enjoy the BD and not think of it as merely BDing...the stress of hoping can keep you from conceiving. I've seen it happen to MANY women. The child we are now having was a complete surprise b/c I chose to simly STOP thinking about conceiving and when I was ovulating and BOOM....baby on the way!
