Parents of 12 mo - 18 mo olds - shoe size question

I bought a pair of spring summer shoes for a 12 month old in a size 6c. That's what the size chart said for that age range. Does that size sound right? Looked kind of big to me

Jake is 14 months old and wears a size 5 1/2w. So I would say that shoe size would be perfect for the spring.

Phew! Thanks! I wanted the gift to be a surprise so I didn't want to ask the mother Keeping my fingers crossed they'll be the right size comes the next few months

My daughter will be 19 months tomorrow and still wears Size 3.

15 mos 7.5w
19 mos 8w

there were other shoe purchases/sizes in between but these were the main Stride Rite ones that I know off the top of my head.

A 6 sounds big to me - but Michael is still wearing 4's at 14 months old - what are they wearing now? He has a pair of sneakers in a 5 and it seems they are going to last for a while...

I always brought my son to Stride Rite. Although it is more expensive you can be assured they get the correct size and width. They measure the feet and get them the best shoe for their age. If fact , the one near me once told me he is not ready for shoes yet the old ones still fit. I left empty handed.

My son is 12 months and most of his shoes are a size 4. He has one or 2 pairs in a 5 - dress shoes. I never had him measured in a stride ride but that is what fits him. He is a big boy too - I am surprised to see everyone is saying 6 sounds right.

MArissa is 17 months and is between a 6 1/2 and 7
