I have super-insider information on Grey's Anatomy!!
For what it is worth, a very good source says the bi person is Christina!
(Now my thoughts on this (assuming it's true): I'm not sure how I feel about this. I've got no problem with homosexuality at all and think it's a good thing that we are seeing it more openly in society, but at the same time I like that Sandra's character isn't the stereotypical mushy, male-dependent type, can't she be that without being gay?)
Disclaimer: I apologize in advance if this turns out not to be true. Interesting to think about at least.

I agree with this. I have no problem with gays and I think it is important to have gay and lesbian characters in TV for something other than comic relief. But I think that when you are an independent, strong woman or a feminist, a lot of people assume you are gay. It would be nice for TV to show a strong woman who doesn't need a man to be happy, who is straight.

The spoilers I have read show that this indeed could be true
"My casting spies are telling me producers are looking for an actress to play a woman in her forties who shows up at Seattle Grace with a bisexual bombshell up her sleeve about one of the female interns"
I think it makes WAY more sense for it to be Izzie. But, that is JMO

I read a spoiler about this too and thought the same thing - Izzie.
I would be really disappointed if it was Christina.

I feel like the Grey's people occassionally throw out "bad spoilers" to throw people off.
Like before the SuperBowl episode, Shonda kept saying how great the chemistry was between Meredith and Hot Bomb guy and she could see them dating, then BOOM!!

I agree that what y ou stated can most certainly be the case.
Whichever way it goes, I would be TICKED off if it were Christina. Plus I just can't rationalize it, why move in with Burke if you have a sidebar lesbian lover...just doesn't add up to me.

"got an email from a Grey's publicist on Friday insisting that there are "no plans for any kind of same-sex relationship this season with any of the main characters. Joe, the bartender, remains happily involved with another man though.""
