As long as you space it out, you're good.
And yeah, when I was on a kid on LI, the air conditioning was on, but as an adult in NYC - NO AIR CONDITIONING on during dance class.
In ballet a while back, we turned it on and our teach was SO mad - she switched that shizz off immediately and punished us with intense barre work. Ahh, memories.

I was also a dancer way back when..I remember sweating to the barre ..
I'm traumatized-that's why I won't take hot yoga
