I am not there yet - but what I am planning on doing is bamboo sticks in a small votive size vase, with the ribbons around it with the babys name and christening date.

I'm a big fan of edible favors. We did chocolate crosses - which somehow seem a bit sacrilegious now...

I made votive candles. I got the glass holders and candles at AC Moore on sale, so it was less than $0.50 for each favor for those, then I made labels on 2" x 4" labels that had a picture of her and said "God Bless Sarah Anne on her Christening Day June 5, 2005" and then I wrapped them in clear cellophane and put a favor bow from AC Moore on them. It's like a rubber band with a ribbon on it.
The hardest part was setting up the labels, and then the most time consuming part was putting the labels on and wrapping them. My mom and I made 30 in like 1 hour or so.
Not the greatest pics but you get the idea:

I did silver coffee scoops filled with kisses and had magnets made up with her Christening picture on them.

I wasn't very creative, I bought a votive holder in Michaels, put a candle in it and put it in a bag with chocolate.

I don't have a pic but we gave glass jewelry boxes with a few jordan almonds and silk rose petals inside wrapped in tulle.
