Weird Sleeping Pattern
So DD has no problem going to sleep in her crib every night. She is still getting up once or twice to feed, she is 3 months and I EBF. But literally like clockwork at 5:30 every morning she is up and usually still very tired. I put her in her papasan swing which we moved into our room and she sleeps for hours. I don't know why she won't sleep in her crib past 5:30, anyone else experience this? How can I break this habit? I try to give her a binky, doesn't really take it...I always let her cry for a little while, will not settle back down...

Re: Weird Sleeping Pattern
I had, and still have, the same thing with Ryan! He wakes up at about 5:30 am every morning to eat and goes back to sleep afterwards only in the papasan swing. When I put him in he is wide awake and then usually goes to sleep. If I put him back in his crib he looks at me like I'm crazy and starts to get restless. He used to sleep for about 4-5 hours in the swing after that 5:30 am feeding, now he only goes about an hour, 2 tops.

Re: Weird Sleeping Pattern
Is it maybe too bright in the room? I know the sun comes up around that time.
We purchased room darkening shades for DD's room and she sleeps like a champ no matter what time of day it is.

Re: Weird Sleeping Pattern
anyone else find that darkening shades help their children sleep longer/better?
