I'm posting this here due to embarassment....
at 6 mths post partum, I have a dress for my friends wedding and I still feel like I look plumpy. I am debating getting an undergarment for the dress I'm wearing.....
Suggestions on good ones or what type?

they have the full body girtle its a body suit I have one I had gotten it believe it or not at walmart.

They are like panty hose cut off. They hold in from under your chest to your thighs. I believe costco sells them. I'll look them up and post them if I can find them.

dumb question....are they breathable? do they make you hot? apparently the church where the ceremony is has no A/C

I love those spanx like things. I have a similar thing like that - looks like spandez biker shorts - I got them at Macys....it really helps to smooth things out - I think I even worn then to wedding pre-pregnancy!!!

when I had to wear a form fitting dress for a bridesmaid I wore a full stappless bra it is from the chest to right below the belly button - it sucked everythng in  People thought I lost a lot of weight . It wasnt to umcomfortable either

I had to go to a wedding 5 weeks after I delivered, love spanx... they are not that hot, you should be fine.

not that this would be the case with you, just be careful of wearing Spanx-type undergarments -- b/c there can be spillage (i.e. muffin top) at the waist band.
i wore a waist cincher for my wedding -- got it at lord and taylor. it is like a corset but goes under your bra. it has a million hooks and it took about 2 inches off my waist....
