Looking for exterior color combos to go with brown roof
Obviously, we won't do anything till spring.  But I really, really hate the outside of our house. It's a drab beige with drab brown shutters. The roof is a very nice brown and since changing that would be a *****, I need some ideas that will coordinate with the roof.
Also, does anyone know if you can paint vinyl siding?

you can't paint vinyl, but you can paint aluminum siding. I like taupe colored siding with a brown roof & burgandy shutters.

why not try just painting the shutters? It might change your opinion about the siding color, plus that's the easiest thing to do.

i was going to suggest this as well. changing the color of the shutters is cost effective and can make a dramatic impact.
