Which is better?
For those who use them, which do you think is better in baby's room, a warm mist or cool mist humidifier?

I've always used a warm mist one and we use it only in the winter when he's stuffed up, based on advice from our pedi. I never thought to use a cold mist one.

see, now I am confused. I got a cool mist and my Dad who is a veteran of six kids said the warm mist was better at breaking up congestion...

I think it depends on what is wrong. A hot shower is best for congestion so that would lead me to think a warm is best for that case.

My ped. said cool mist, because the baby can burn themselves on the warm mist.
