I know Columbia has the top cardiologists and I'm sure you will be in the best hands.
Not sure if you read this article, it's about a pregnant mom w. mitral valve prolapse having heart surgery. I realize is different than your situation, but thought it might be some comfort to read sucess stories on that sort of thing:
