When someone posts about a problem and asks for advice
and then doesn't give an update, do you wonder wonder what happened? Do you ask?
I do! I read about an issue a while back and wonder what the outcome was. But I am not close with the poster and would feel funny asking about it.

I sometimes wonder what happened, but I don't always feel close enough to the person to ask what the outcome was. This is going to sound crazy, but I don't want people to think I'm stalking them or something!

Yes, I often do. I would also feel weird about asking for the update also, mostly if I don't know them that well.

I think you should post asking for an update.....that person posted asking for advice so it wouldnt be weird to ask if everything worked out
Personally I think its not stalking its caring about that person

I thought about posting to ask about them, but I figured if they have lurking friends/family or if the outcome wsn't a good one, they would prefer to keep quiet.

You could always FM then and say you were thinking about them... I'm sure if they weren't comfortable discussing it with you then they won't

Potentially cheating husband.........sort of update.............
Well I created an account and posted just what I thought he wanted to hear. He hasn't answer my post, nor have I gotten any emails from him. Although I know it is hard for him to get to a computer these days, since his wife has lost her job. So is no news good news? I don't know. I'll continue to keep you guys posted.
