can she have the ones with pasta in them?
what about broccoli? I found chicken & broccoli the other day.

What else can we introduce? I have papaya and avocado to give her.

should I be eliminating cereal at dinner?

I think at 7 months everything was pretty much game for us....

By 8 months she was doing almost all table foods .... not in bulk, but just to taste everything.

The only things we hold off on are Eggs (I've tried them and once she refused, the other time she got red and blotchy), chocolate and peanut butter.

Did I ever type out my list for you??

if you have already done all the plain meats then i would say anything is a go, but if you have not started meats I would just stick to the mixed fruits and veggies that they have. just make sure that one ingredient is already something that she had so if she has any allergy you know it is from the other one.

Miranda was getting stage 2's well before 7 months. I never followed any system (shame on me) and it all worked out fine.

Noah had some pastina last night and it went down pretty well, I thought he would gag and choke, but he just chewed it (and who knew you could chew without any teeth) so I was thinking of getting some stage 2 foods once I finished the food I have now....he is about a week short of 7 months...(I can hardly believe its 7 months already...)

well we've been on Stage 2 for a while now....started the meat combos a week ago and so far so good.

as far as table food has gone, we've given her pancakes, waffles (plain of course), broken up penne noodles (she ate the equivalent of 1 or 2 noodles) plain, cheerios, I tried meatloaf last week and she wasn't quite sure about it.

Oh and we did watermelon in the safety self feeder thing with the net.....LOVED that.

I was just curious if I can give her cheese...like Stage 2 Mac n Cheese and the macaroni and beef combo. Can she eat real cheese yet? what about baby yogurt?

This is SO hard for someone that requires directions for EVERYTHING

I would check with your ped. about the cheese because everyone will probably give you a different answer.
I gave Miranda yogurt at 8 months and I think shortly after that I started cheese and she has been fine with both.

just a quick question (sorry to invade your post) do you have to start with stage 1 foods and then move on to stage 2? My SIL said she started with stage 2 right away because stage 1 was too watered down in her opinion.

also, if you start with stage 1 - how long do you wait to move on to stage 2?

My ped told me no citrus stuff, specifically he told me no oranges or tomatoes yet and no strawberries.

Brocolli he said yes to.

ETA: My ped told me to drop a cereal last month when we started meats.
