how do I switch over to a new gyn? does the new gyn requests the paper work for me from my old gyn?

I started with a new gyn a couple of years ago. I got a copy of my records and brought them to my new doctor

Basically you call your doctor, ask them to mail your records to your home. You may need to fax them a consent letter to release the records...
Make copies of your records to keep at home, in case you need to bring them to several doctors.
I actually think having the copies of the medical records are so important even if you aren't changing doctors.
