I went yesterday afternoon. I was unsure what to expect, but I left the movie feeling as though these heros deserve all the recognition in the world.
I don't want to give too much away...but you never see a plane...it was a story told from the 2 officers and their family's POV. I thought it was really good. I cried the entire time, DH did as well, mainly because it was such a true love story.
It shined such a great light on police officers and marines.
ETA: I don't feel as though victims were expolited at all. It was a great movie about the courage that some men have in them. The humanity the movie portrayed was awe inspiring.

while at the gym last night I watched Channel 7 news and they were interviewing people going in to see the movie and then again coming out when it was over. every single one has swollen red eyes from crying. they all said that it was a very powerful movie which does not focus on terror, but the hope and kindness of humanity.
I still don't think I could ever watch it

I saw it last month at a premiere screening. The movie itself was ok, It was sad of course, everyone in the theatre shed tears.

I was invited to see it tonight with two of my girlfiends...but I didn't feel ready to see it yet.
I don't know if I am ready.  Glad to hear it was such a great love story.
