That's so sad! Such fond memoried from there gfrowing up
Weren't there talks about turning it into a casino?

I didn't realize the Pines closed up too! We went there when i was younger too.

Yeah the pines was first to go I think. We used to also goto Kutschers, and the Nevelle - I believe the Nevelle is b eing renovated

As for the Casino, I dont know what happened with that.

I believe there was talk of Indian Casinos up there but that area is depressed. It's like in Dirty Dancing at the end when they say no one wants to go on vacation with their parents anymore...

My grandparents used to go to Kutcher's for the summer when it was too hot in Florida. The rooms stunk from mildew - it was old and run down...

Now families go to all-inclusives in exotic places!

We used to go to Kutchers and the Fallsview. What nice family vacations. I always wanted to bring my family up there when I have children.

What is sad is all these places are no all abandoned. I have been to many of these resorts as a kin and adult as well. Here are some links to the abandoned resorts I have gone to and also some I stayed at when I was younger.
