Who has colored their hair at home?
What brand of hair color did you use and were you happy with the results?
Also, if you have long hair, did you have to use 2 boxes?

I use Loreal Paris - Color 7A  . My hair is about down to my belt and yes I use two boxes!!

I do mine all the time. I use Preference by Loreal and have always been happy with it. Mines short so I only need one box.

I went to sally beauty supply and got the professional Feria (different than the box kit) and mixed it with a 20 volume developer.

I do. My sister puts it in for me because I can never cover the back properly. I use Nice and Easy and have been for about 3 years. I just started having to use 2 boxes because my hair is longer than ever before.

I've used lots of different ones. I like the Garnier Nutriesse a lot. And I've liked Lorial Hydrience in the past.
I just did it a month or 2 ago and my hair is about down a little past my bra strap. I only used 1 box and it was fine- though if it gets much longer I'd probably get 2 just in case.
I also like Natural Instincts -but the color even from permanent doesn't stick that well to my hair, so Natural Instincts lasts a really short time for me.
