I found this mildly amusing with thoughts of TTC...
So I am helping my 74 year old mother sort her medication and vitamins into medicine weekly strips and notice she is taking folic acid.
So I say "Oh wow Ma, you are taking folic acid? I take it too. Its supposed to be good for women in child-bearing years and for those who are looking to get pregnant."
Thinking it would perk her up a little bit because she's been so down lately, I was waiting for her reaction. She looks at me with a serious face and in the way only my mom can do she says:
"Childbearing years? Then what the hell am I taking them for?"
WHOOSH! Right over her head. I let it go.
