Unfortunately, the AC is not working in my dept. I am here so miserable and uncomfortable. Luckily, I wore a linen white halter top dress to work this morning with flip flops. If the technicians does not get it up and running by 1-2 PM I will be closing our dept. for the rest of the day. No one will be able to function in this heat.
Ewww, I am dying.

At least you guys(well, some of you) have air conditioning. Its over 90 here where I live in LA but it rarely goes over 70. So NO air conditioning anywhere but the grocery store.
I am trying hard to stay cool but its impossible.

wow, i would shut down. i am at home right now in my house and no ac but in the tralior and i am here at my computer. i wish i could get it in the trailor. dring water with ice and that shold help with you in ca. that is what i am doing to stay some what cooler.

Oh, I remember how bad it was when I lived there in 2001, LA was like a freakin' oven...
one relief is that at night you cool down as soon as the sun sets...the humidity here is ridiculous...
