Talk About Being CONFUSED.. UPDATED

and a little scared to be honest, I have an appointment with my OBGYN tomorrow FINALLY since he has cancelled on me previously.. anyway the problem is pretty bad . I am on a 40 day cycle always have been irregular.. but NEVER this long. I was supposed to get AF on April 13Th(yes a month ago) STILL NO AF. ALL the symptoms but nothing. NO BFP's either, and believe me I HAVE tested A LOT. I have had the abnormal cells already on my last pap, and now I'm thinking WHAT CoULD BE WRONG. This is by far not normal. I know my anxiety/stress level over this alone has probably kept AF away too.. but this is a first for me. This means I haven't had AF since March 1st.. I'm so scared of the Dr. appt tomorrow.

Has the Dr previously said why your cycles are so long?
I have had cervical cancer stemming from abnormal cells, and that I can tell you will NOT affect your cycle. I had about 3 years worth of bad paps, and surgeries to remove it, and I never had an abnormal cycle during that.

It sounds like there may be something else going on, maybe hormone wise. Do you have any problems with cysts or anything?

Im sure the Dr. will give you some answers, and dont fear the worse until you hear something, thats not good for, and wont change the situation. Think positive.

I just wanted to let my support and I truly hpoe you get some answers to help resolve why your cycle is so irregular in particular this month As someone who has experience vastly irregular cycles my entire life practically, I can totally understand your frustrations and concerns ..

Have you had you thyroid checked?

I had this happen to me about 5 years ago and it was the result of a thyroid problem.

I know it's frustrating, but hopefully the doctor will have some answers for you

I just got back from the Dr. He did a biopsy of the canal to see if there is some type of blockage going on.. menstrual endometriosis?? It could very possibly not be that. He didnt seem to think there was a blockage since he did a procedure today and was all the way up there..He also took a biopsy today of the lining. That way he can run tests of the tissues and see what phase I'm in or not .. If i am in fact blocked than I could have menstruted and there was no blood able to come down. BUT if I didn't then he is checking if ovulated or not and can have a clearer picture of if I can be expecting a period(or not) . I am spotting from the procedure now, so he said if it is bright red it is just from the procedure(new blood) but if it turns brown ( then its prob an old period that never fully came out) I have to keep track of this now too...
The abnormal cells I know have nothing to do with my irregularity, and he did the 6 month pap again(since having them) so we'll also see if they are irregualr again or they are OK.
I have to look into the endometriosis thing. I'm not sure about it exactly, but I want to educate myself anyway. I'm not going to assume that is what it is since he said the canal was open from what he saw. I guess we'll see when I go back in 2 weeks. If I do not get a period by then, then he will give me something to bring it on. He said that my breasts are full like I am getting AF but who knows at this point? Either way I'll have answers when the results are back. Thanks for yoru support... And men are the strong ones..
