Finger Foods for 6 month old

Good Morning Everyone!!
How the heck are ya?
I am fine. NOT at all hungover from my night out with the girls last night. NOT at all. No Siree Bob.

Anyway, my query is this...Noah is really starting to love his foods and I have been giving him some rusks...like zwieback type things....anyway, I also have been giving him hunks of cucumbers to **** on and I was wondering if anyone else gave their six month olds any finger foods....

So what do you give your kiddies?

I tried giving Jared a puff around that age and then he choked on it...giving me a heart attack and putting the puffs back on the shelf.Chat Icon

Puffs, cherios, watermellon and apples.

I also give him regular food like chicken, meatballs, raviolis, pasta.... I just cut them into tiny tiny tiny pieces, he loves it.

He started eating puffs at about 6.5 months (I would give him 1/2 at a time) I've always been paranoid of chokingChat Icon

Re: Finger Foods for 6 month old

I have not even thought of it yet...my friend tried the food in the net thing and said ds would not even open his mouth. I was reading not until 9 months, not that I have strictly followed any guidelines ( i.e. "no exersaucer until 6 months", "no sunblock until 6 months")
I thought I would wait until he had some teeth, but I guess I could try watermelon today at the BBQ!
