Recommend your Hardwood Floor... Re-Doer(?) (willing to come to queens)

Hi all,

It's been quite a while. These co-op renovations have been keeping DH and i pretty busy. I'm going ot try to start a before and after thread tonight to show the progress thus far.

Anyway, I need to start thinking about finding a person to redo our hardwood floors. I kept reading here that it should be appx $1.50-$2/sq ft. My contractor's price turned out to be closer to about $5/sq ft so we're not using him. We're in Little Neck, which is the northeastern-most point of Queens. Please recommend your refinisher if you think they might even consider coming to my neck of the woods (I know Queens 'scares' some people off ).

Also, if you can give (or FM) an appx price, I'd REALLY appreciate it!!

ETS: I know there have been a billion hardwood floor posts on here in the past few months but very few included names of people and none (that I saw) were anywhere outside of Suffolk so please bear with me on this!!
