Quick Subway Question
How do I connect to the 7 train from 34th st and 5th Ave? Without having to walk to Grand Central?

Take the B/D/F/V train (on 34th & 6th) one stop uptown to 42nd Street, and you can transfer for the 7 there.

If so, from Penn take the 1, 3 or 9 uptown one stop to Times Square - get out there and go downstairs and get the 7.

you'd have to take it uptown one stop from Penn (34th streeet) to times square (42nd street)

No, I have to stop in and see my acupuncturist for some herbs and her office is on 34th & 5th, but I'm trying to get home quick because I have to visit my MIL in the hospital

Penn Station is on 34th & 7th Ave. The F/V trains are closer.
PS: You can also take the B/D... same track as the F/V train... so whichever comes 1st.

that is correct Lichi. I was just responding to of you go from Penn station you'd have to go Uptown not downtown 1 stop.
