What is the name of the test...
You can get between like 11-13 weeks. It's a sono combined with bloodwork that checks for Down's and Trisomesies (sp?)?

is it the CVS test? Do you have to take it? They didn't have this test when I was pregnant w/ Jake in 2004.
What other tests are there? I know the AFP test, the Gestation Diabeties blood test. IS that it?

Yeah, the Ultrascreen, that was it.
This is a standard test that most people get? I wasn't sure if it would be covered by my insurance if it wasn't standard and I wanted to call, but I didn't remember what the name was.
ETA:
There's the CVS and the amnio, which I guess they would consider doing if something came up on the Ultrascreen, or I was over 35 with a family history. I believe the gestational diabetes test gets done much later in the pregnancy. Like 28ish weeks I think????

The test is also called the nuchal fold scan- its just another name for it. They measure the back of the babies neck for fluid.
