How is everyone doing???
Just wondering how everyone's little ones are doing??
Any updates??
Im waiting for the PED to call me back and see what is wrong with Christopher....if it is just colic, and I have to ride it out. AR, or formula. I just feel so bad for the litle guy...nothing seems to console him

I am pretty miserable as of late. These boys are giving me a tough time at night and i am majorly sleep deprived. We had 3-4 bad nights last week. They just like to be held...nothing is wrong with them...so i have been trying the CIO method since they are almost 6 weeks. It worked last night but they cried for about 2 hours before it did and that is heartbreaking.
I just about lost it the other night...crying to my husband that "all i want is an 8 hour sleep night" since i have not had one since early in my pregnancy.
I just want to see some sort of sign that it will get better soon.

Everything is okay here. Tommy is having surgery for bilateral hernias this week :( but apparently the sooner it's taken care of, the better. Both of them have their moments ... especially when they are put in their crib after our 9pm feeding. There is nothing wrong with them, they jsut feel like they are just not ready to go to sleep. We hold them and eventually we'll put them upstairs again, they cry a little and drift off. I was trying to do every 4hour schedule but they seem to really like sticking to the 3 -3 1/2...
I find that I really need to get out each day so even though it takes me forever to get them ready, I load them in the car and go to the drive thru starbucks or dunkin' donuts to get coffee. It's actually a nice break!

same here!!! i just want to get out of my pjs before noon!!! i was feeding this am from 5:45 till 11:30 straight!!! by the time i finish one breastfeed, bottlefeed supplement, then do the next one, the first one is hungry again!
also working on getting them on the same schedule but its so hard w/ the breastfeeding bc i can not do them both at once.

Doing a little better the past two nights. The both actually slept from 9:30 til 2:30, then 3:30 till 7:30. First time I had over a three hour stetch of sleep since they were born.

So the PED thinks Christopher may have AR...he is NOT spitting up, but hasnt gained anyweight since his last visit which was on 9/29.
He is on Zantac and she wanted me to put some rice cereal in his bottle to thicken it up.
Only problem is I cant seem to get the holes bigger I went to a 2month nipple and that didnt work, so I had some 3 month old nipples but only 2 of them.
I just hope this works
I go back on Thursday to see if he gained any weight
