Wearing white after Labor Day???
does anyone still follow this "rule"? i was thinking about a cute white shirt i have and wanted to wear it to work tomorrow.

I follw it only for pants and shoes- shirts is fine, and its only the bright white. Winter white and off white is def. a go in the fall/winter.

I just said to DH that I was going to wear my white capris tomorrow and he questioned it. But I say if it is warm...the rule goes out the window. Also, I think I heard something on some fashion show/segment that those rules don't apply anymore.

I cant wear white pants, shoes, or skirts after labor day. I know the rule is old, but I would hear my moms voice in my head all day.

I can't either- I do have winter white- but the white jeans, skirts and pants- are no more until June

I think a white shirt is OK. (I hope I do not offend here.....) but I think that white pants, skirts & Capri's - especially lighter summer fabrics - no good after labor day.

I have a bridal shower sunday and the dress I am dying to wear i can only wear my white pumps so I am doing it and the rule can kiss my bootay!
