Cheapest place to get a van (for moving)?
need just a large van to move matress, bookcase, etc.

I know of 2. either Enterprise (Yes, they rent vans!) or Uhaul. But I believe that Enterprise is the least expensive of the two.

Depending upon if you live in the area or not...
My DH just compared U-Haul, Enterprise and a local hardware store in East Northport that rents vans/box trucks. I don't remember the exact price but it was much cheaper to rent and the cost per mile was cheaper as well.

We've always used uhaul but I'm not sure if they're necessarily cheaper. They were cheaper than Budget when I checked.

My DH just used a budget Van this past weekend to move our old TV out to my mom's...I think he said it was $90 with the taxes and insurance.

I just rented a Budget. They had the best prices.
thats who we used uhual was $10 cheaper for the truck but wanted $2.90 per mile, and since it was a weekend could only get it for 8 hrs. budget picked up friday returned sunday morning and it was .90 a mile

Enterprise rents vans for $79 a day - no mileage charges.

Thanks everyone!
We are going with Enterprise and the best part, they are closed sunday....so we can pick it up saturday, return it anytime sunday and only be charged for 1 day!!! come with 150 miles to and only $.25 a mile after that!
By far the best deal I found!
