ami the only one who just doesnt send in those letters?! i just throw them out! they have no idea if i recieved it or not.

they will find out and you can't avoid it al the time Jess. My friend did that and it was either pay a hefty fine or sit in once a week at the court. She decided to go w/ the sit in.

I have been playing this crazy what county do I live in game

b/c I have my car registered to my Dad's house in Suffolk- b/c it's cheaper and when I bought it I lived in NYC-

but I live in Nassau
so I have my electric bill to prove that

so when the city tried to get me- I sent them Nassau- when Nassau tried to get me I said I lived in Suffolk- then when suffolk tired to get me- I said I lived in Nassau

they are going to catch up to me one- but for now it works!

I threw them out for years, over 10 in fact. But they caught up to me, and they can arrest you too.

I got nervous and finally had to go in person to drop off the summons to the court house or I would have had a warrant out for my arrest.

So at my age, too much too risk!! Its not bad I just finished.
You get to put it off for the first time and choose when you think you will be better able to serve if you had too. I got my summons when I was going away and called and pushed it back till recently. I seved for 2 days, and I dont have to worry about serving again for 6 yrs.

hmmm.... i move around alot. (or have) so i figured they wouldnt knwo since sometimes my mail was never fwd to me

I threw it out a couple of times and then they sent me a nasty letter saying that I have to pay a fine if I dont complete it

I used to throw mine out all of the time until I got a real nastygram one day talking about a fine and/or imprisonment. I lied and said I never received them. They don't care! Take care of it now. It's not worth it.
