UPDATED PAGE 1..Need your prayers and advice.. im spotting .. TMI

Ok so i posted how i went to the dr ( the one i hate) yesterday and she did an internal sosno and after wards i was spotting ( just when i wiped not anyting more sorry TMI) anyway this mornign iw ake up and first wipe is a little moire than aspotting lets say a BIG spot of blood. I am now in teh bathroom constantly checking and mostly its light spotting agian although once i did wipe and got that big SPOT agin on the paper. I am thinking the worst of course.Is this the signs of a misscarriage?Girls please please please pray that this is not a miscarriage and just some spotting form teh sono which btw i did call yesterday and they said it as normal but for how long they did not say....

UPDATE: ok i spoke to my old office secretary who spoke ot the dr and i called my new drs office and although i have never been there the dr i am going to see monday got on the phone and spoke to me for 5 minutes. I told the dr already i know i am going to be happy with this place that she spoke to mne and never saw me.Anyway nothign really new to update both say its not necessarily a bad sign and that it could definitly be from the internal sono. So girls just keep praying for me and i will kepp you updated.

I believe you can have spotting after an internal. I didn't, but that doesn't mean that you can't. Spotting is also normal during pregnancy and they say to only worry about a mc if you have bad cramps with the spotting. Do you have cramps too? If not, I wouldn't worry. Did you call the Dr.? They might help put your mind at rest.

A friend of mine had more than spotting throughout her pregnancy and her Dr. told her that she wasn't mc but he didn't know what was causing it. She spotted more than her usual period and things were fine for her!

They also say that if the spotting is pink tissue or brown clumps to call the Dr. about posssibly mc.

Did you take a test again? It would probably help ease your mind to see a BFP again!



ETA: oops! I just remembered you spoke to the Dr. already. Call again and ask how long! They are there to answer all your questions!

Make sure they see you today just for your own piece of mine. I spotted early on in my pregnancy & they sent me to the ER (it was midnight & the office was closed)

Sometimes it's normal to spot after an internal....but get in to your dr today to make sure!!!

I'm sure you can spot after an internal. I didn't. IF you start seeing tissue (looks like stringy blood-sorry!) then you definitely know it's a miscarriage.

I had that, but it was preceded bu small spotting for awhile (1-2 weeks before the miscarriage) and my blood was brown.

I had an internal on Monday and my doctor said some spotting would be normal; however this is at 37 weeks. I don't have any advice, but I send you my best wishes.

At my first internal, I spotted for a couple of days... it can be normal. If, though, you're spotting bright red blood or clots, then you definitely need to see the doctor. Good luck and we're thinking of you

I know you are fearing the worst (I'M sure we all would in this scenario), but please try to remember that spotting IS normal ...so many women spot throughout their pregnancies, and it does not necessariliy mean that you are miscarrying..

I read somewhere that usually cramping along with the bleeding is more cause for concern.

ANd also, I've read that more "serious" signs might be if you were soaking up a pad, typical to the bleeding that is "AF" type of bleeding.. or as Shana said you were to see "tissue" along with the bleeding, or BRIGHT red blood...

most likely this is a result of the internal , but for peace of mind try to see EITHER of your doctors and have them examine you .. worst case scenario, go to the ER is the bleeding gets any worse

i just want you to know i know what you are going through lets just i woke up a fe weeks ago with a huge gush of blood and then it stopped then a few days later same then have been spotting since....(sorry tmi) but i went to the dr and they told me i have a subchoriaonic bleed i guess its somewhat common--so blood dose not go hand in hand with miscarriage. I had a sono and my baby is fine. I know that spotting is normal after internal ...i wouldnt get to worked up about it. But if you need to go to an er to ease your mind.
