A big baby
I just wanted to share something for all of you that are awaiting your babies. WHile I was in the hospital last week there was a baby in the nursery that was born at 11 pounds 13 ounces. He was a week early and was so cute.

 Yeah, that's big. That's what they predicted Andrew would be had he gone full term (he was born at 37 weeks, 9 lb. 7 oz). My GF had her baby 10 days late and he was 11 lb 2 oz.

My brother was 11lbs at birth, and my mom had a vaginal birth.

I pray that this does not happen to me. I was only 6lbs when born. My brother was 6 and change.
DH and most of his family were 9 or bigger. DH was close to 11lbs

I was 8lbs 2oz born @ 36wks  
ETA: When I was getting my u/s at 16wks, I heard soemthing to the effect of "wow this is going to be a big one" I'm not carrying very big but looks can be deceiving
My cousin had three all over 10 - two at 11lbs and one at 13lbs.

My brother was 9lbs 13oz and was born vaginally as was one of my closest male friends.
One mom on a board I go too was told she needed a c/s for a 'big baby" because of her size. Her baby was 8lbs. 2 years later she had an UNASSISTED home vaginal birth of an over 9lb baby with NO tearing...

That's what my one nephew weighed - 11 lb, 13 oz. 24 inches long. Vaginal delivery. Can you imagine?? And let me also say, my nephew had and still has a pretty big head - past the 100th percentile when he was an infant. My poor SIL, she literally couldn't walk for a week...she's so tiny too. My OB said he'd never have let he have a vbirth if that was his patient.
