When did you start wearing maternity clothes
All these posts about maternity sizes has made me curious, when did you start feeling that you needed maternity wear?

bottoms I was 10 weeks...I think tops I was able to hold out about 4 weeks after that!

I think I started wearing maternity clothes all the time around 18 weeks or so.

I'm at nine weeks and I just bought bottoms this weekend. I gave away all of my "big clothes" before I got pregnant b/c I lost 20lbs. on Weight Watchers. I figured that I can get maternity clothes rather than buying bigger sizes.
Psychologically, I could not buy one size up after loosing the weight. I rationalize that maternity clothes are different, I am getting bigger b/c of the little one!

Against my will at about 10 weeks I began to wear maternity bottoms. None of my pants fit at all.

I started wearing maternity pants till about 10 weeks - the pants were more of a problem than the tops. The tops I wore until recently - but now at 22 weeks - Im pretty much in materntiy tops as well - unless its a loose fitting shirt or t-shirt.
Bras are another story

I started wearing bottoms around 9 weeks and I wore a few tops (that I could tie in the back too). Today I'm wearing a regular sweater and its tight and I dont look PG just fat  But I have maternity tops and bottoms now. Most of my regular clothes dont fit. NONE of my pants fit.

I retired my regular pants and jeans at 22 weeks. Now at 26 weeks I bought two pair of maternity jeans that looked ridiculous, so I returned them and bought regular jeans in a bigger size. I find them much more flattering. I still wear most of my regular shirts and sweaters. Everyone's body is different.
