repost from parenting.... QUICK! PLEASE!- need advice!!!!!!

My BF was almost 12 weeks preggo and she called today to tell me that on the way home from work she lost the baby. What can I do for her? I want to send her something but don't know what.... I don't want to do flowers and I looked into pajamagram.com but didn't see anything that would be good. Any suggestions??????????

PS- she has a little girl that will be 2 in july.

DOES SHE WORK? will she be going tomorrow? if not, is it possible for you to go over (and take the day off yourself?) and hang out with her and/or her daughter? You could always bring whateevr she might like as well as a shoulder to lean on.....

Awww, i think the best thing you can do for her is just be a friend.

If you want to bring her something, maybe a spa GC so that she can feel a little better about herself when she's up to going out.

thank you for responding....

I have a 4 month old daughter and I have offered to go with her (find someone to watch DD) but her DH is able to go and they have someone to watch their DD. I want to give her something gto make her smile and know she's loved... something perhaps that would make life more comfortable or fun.... if that makes sense.

My good friend's father died and we got her a bunch of Bath and Body Works stuff in her favorite scents to pamper herself. I can't pretend that it helped, but sometimes it is nice to have new toiletries like that to relax a bit.

How about taking her out for lunch? Or, bring a fancy lunch over to her house for the both of you to eat.

You can also bring her some meals so she won't have to cook or prepare meals for a couple of days. You can make meals for the little girl and for her and dh!!
