Working out while pregnant.
Hi, Just wondered what you ladies are doing to work out while pregnant...I am 10 weeks and only manage to go walking about 3 times a week...between the nausea and the tiredness I just dont have the desire....
Are there are any workout tapes worth getting for when I eventually do get the energy?
Thanks

Re: Working out while pregnant.
Denise Austin has a pregnancy work out tape, it is really good! I have not done it with this pregnancy, but i used it when I was pregnant with my first 2.

I have an eliptical machine at home that I try to use a few times a week...although I've really slacked off the last few weeks.

Re: Working out while pregnant.
I went to the gym faithfully my first 2 trimesters. My third trimester I had to stop going because I have no energy and also the baby is sitting to low. My first trimester I realized that my workout had changed big time do to the baby. I couldn't do half of what I could do before. Just take it easy and your body will tell you what you are capable of doing and what you are not.

Re: Working out while pregnant.
I used to work out avidly, at least 5 times a week for about 45 minutes, but I was soooooooooo sick in the first and second trimester that I couldn't do anything really. I do go for a walk every night for about 45 minutes with DH and the doggy. Not as much as before, but every little thing counts...

Re: Working out while pregnant.
if you trained before you can do what you did before according to my ob I had a trainer my whole pregnancy and worked out 3-4 days, light weights and cardio
I worked out more during my pregnancy then now I walked on the treadmill up until a week before I was due
