So what do you think about the christening centerpiece?
I made this sample today. I forgot to buy the sticks for the chocolates so I would actually stick the flowers in the stryofoam. We are also going to be making some chocolate crosses. Each flower pot will be a different pattern of blue and white. So do you like it or should I come up with something else?

This was your idea Melissa and I really appreciate it. You had mentioned that you and your sister did something similar for you neices christening and I thought it was so different. Thanks

I'm glad that you were able to make use of the idea. I really do like it. Those flowers are chocolate?

Yup! I even added creme de menth to the white chocolate and it tastes soo yummy. I am thinking of getting another flower so I have two types. This particular mold comes with little lady bugs which I might make aswell. They are so cute. This craft stuff is addicting.

I bought 4" terracota pots (they are on sale at A.C. Moore for $.14(its not a typo that is the correct price)!!) some white paint and blue paint for the pots but I am going to buy spray paint in white. It will be easier even though this was really easy. A stryofoam ball and some reindeer moss. I glued the moss to half the ball and then just set the ball in the pot. The chocolates were really simple also. You just have to remember that you have to reverse the order when you want a few colors that you are using, ie. if you are doing a face or something detailed. So I did the yellow first then layered the white over it. I want to see if I can find a tulip mold. I think we are going to put 2 or 3 on each table because we will have oval tables. It took me about 15-20 mintues to do that including the chocolate. It was so fast.
