OBGYN recommendation
I am looking either in the Centereach/Selden/Setauket area or the Plainview/Hicksville/Bethpage area.
One is near work and one near home. I would like a female Dr. Anyone have a recommendation for me please TIA

Dr. Bezal in massapequa. My mother has worked for her as an labor and delivery nurse and been a paitent of hers (had female surgery over the summer). My mother says she is the best. And not to be gross but she has small hands which are good for delivery.
She has a 10 week waiting list but I am thinking about TTC in 2 years and I want to start going to a doctor that I can trust to get me through my pregnancy! so based on my mothers observations I think it is worth the wait!

I see Dr. Jennifer Hanauer on Old Country Rd in Garden City. She's fantastic, but I don't know if you're looking in that area.

You mean Bethpage ob'/gyn? i used to go there too, and saw some male doctor who i didn't like. So I tracked her down!!!

Yep! When Dr Bervine and Dr George left I was so upset Then Dr hanauer left too. To me it says a lot when all the women leave a practice.

I too have had such bad experiences with bethpage ob-gyn. I went to those doctors too and every time I called for one they had just left the practice! Such a pain!

She's actually in a building next to st. catherine's... i don't think they're associated with the hospital though... The only person I know that used them for a delivery did deliever at St. Catherine's though... Sorry!

I see Dr. Griffin with the Stonybrook OB-GYN practice.. my aunt is a nurse at stonybrook and highly recommended him. He is great.. I have been with him for a few years..

They use St Catherines and have priveledges at Stonybrook in case of a problem. I am delivering with them in 2 weeks.........

She's a nurse practitioner - and she left the practice!
They took on another female Dr though, and she's great! (Dr Joyce Rubin)

Shes my current OBGYN, but Im changing, and I saw her at the West Islip office, got an appointment for a consult in like 2 , maybe 3 weeks...
