Quick update on today's appt.
Hi ladies!! Wow you have all been busy with posts and info, and it is so late I can't even keep everythig straight.
Well...I wanted to post quickly about my appt. with SIRM today since a few people asked in FM. I forgot to take my Ganirelex and Dex. (I call it meth) this morning!! So I realized on the train, and thought, no biggie, I am sure SIRM has a stash. WRONG. I had to go to a pharmacy on 68th and 3rd afterwards and fork over $130 for 2 shots of Ganirelex- which sucked cuz I have plenty at home.
I got blood drawn, and they test only for E2, no FSH or anything else.
Then I got nikkit and on the table. Dr. Batso. comes in, says hi, shakes my had, how are you, oh nice brooch, ok scoot down. I was like, HUH??? He's looking at my brooch?? And now my vajayjay?? Well I can imagine which was prettier!!
I got the dildocam action and NO CYSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so relieved because when I did IUI in Feb. I had a huge cyst, also in January and March and my IUIs were cancelled. Also said he saw 2 follies on the right, about 10 mm, and regular ovary on the left, no follies yet. My uterine was perfect and everything looked GREAT, exactly where I should be right now. I am SO relieved. And then Jocelyn called to tell me my E2 was under 25, so everything is full speed ahead.
This is my first IVF and I am so nervous but they are making me feel great about everything right now...
After went to lunch with a client, shopping, met mom, went to the FIT museum, dinner and Doubt on B'way. All in all, a really great (albeit EXPENSIVE) day!

Oh and PS you ladies were right -- I found myself of course shooting up then in a public restroom in the middle of NYC. I feel almost like a pro!!
I continue on Dexa. and Ganirelex until next Tuesday, with an E2V supp. thrown in here and there. Next Wed. (5/9)I start with Gonal-F, folic acid and daily E2V supps. and continue all until 5/15. 5/11 I have another u/s. 5/12 until 5/15 I start Menopur and 5/16 another u/s and then we see when to do the HCG.
Whew!!!!
