We celebrated Christmas with my parents last night.
Even though I will see my parents today and tonight at my grandmother's, we celebrated last night because we have a standing tradition of sleeping at my parents' house and opening gifts in the morning and having a huge breakfast. I'm a little sad because they are leaving for Florida tomorrow morning to see my father's parents, so we won't be staying over their place tonight. It never ceases to amaze me how much my parents still spoil us now that we're adults. They somehow manage to make our Christmases seem magical even though I am 26 years old. I even got the most amazing email from my mother this morning thanking my sister and I for being her daughters It made me cry!
Anyway, my point is....no matter what happens in the days leading up to the holidays, it's so nice to be with family who you truely appreciate and who truely appreciate you.
I hope everyone else has as an amazing holiday as I've already had
