Caiden has to get tubes in his ears...
I'm so upset. I know it's a pretty common operation, but it's my little boy! We have an appt with an ENT Specialist on Thursday. He just keep getting ear infections everytime he's sick. He's had 7 since November. He's just getting over back to back one's. My poor guy. We're also having to use his nebulizer everyday too for the next 4 weeks so he can get over his chest cold. Who ever said that BF helps keep your baby from getting sick alot LIED! I BF my son for a year, and all he's been doing is get sick! Sorry... just needed to vent! Thanks!

Poor Caiden and poor Mommy!! 
My nephew had them and it is pretty common. The only downside is that he lived in Texas and he wasn't allowed to be in swimming pools for a year or more.
 's for Caiden that he feels better soon!

Damien got tubes put in in February and it is the best thing we ever did. He has only been sick once since then and he too got sick all the time. He is BF too. I was so scared too but you will see the difference. FM me with any questions

Oh I feel so bad for him. It is common my co owrker had to have her daughter get them in and she is 6 years old plus my friend had them put in her daughters ears and she was 15 months old when she had them done she always had ear infections and she had them put in she hasn't had one since.

BF does not prevent all health issues, but maybe if you didn't he would have even more infections. You still did a great thing Melissa.
Speak to the ENT. I am sure everything will work out okay.

Don't worry, when I was a child I had tubes in my ears. Just think... he won't have as many ear infections anymore because the tubes will help drain the liquid that builds up. He's probably better this way then for him to keep getting ear infections. Good Luck
