Gmail users, how does it work?
I'm kind of lost on this one.
I'm not crazy about putting my cell phone # out there, and I don't want to get a message on my cell every time i get an email. (I get a lot of junk mail.)
How do you like it?

I recently switched. I have never gotten a message on my cell phone. I guess that is an option you can chose. Ihaven't had any problems.

Hmm well I have gmail, but I've never had to put in my phone number or cell number when signing up.. unless this is something new?
I do like it a lot, its so much easier to keep track when you are emailing back/forth .. the only slight drawback I find is that I have some trouble logging onto the gmail.com site from work (BUT that is because my office network is screwy, not a fault of gmail)

hmm, it says i have to have an invitation from a gmail user or give them my cell phone # to receive an invitation.

I always get online with gmail.
The only thing I don't like is that it sorts e-mail by who response to what. So if you send an e-mail to 30 people and 10 respond, it is sorted by response to the original email and nto their name. There may be a way to fix that, but I don't know it.
But overall, I'm a big fan.

That was just to get the code for the invitation to join. YOu need to know someone w. gmail to join or you need a promo code for it.
