I cant deal with my dh anymore!!!!!!
UGH! I dont know what to do about my husband anymore. He is an electrician and works LONG hours. He has 2 cell phones and NEVER answers either of them. It always made me mad but now that I can go into labor at ANY MINUTE its pissing me off more than you know! He doesnt call me all day and then when I try to call him, he never answers. I have to listen to that stupid nextel woman trying to locate his phone and when she does, he doesnt answer. I have tried to explain to him calmly that I may need him at any minute, I tried yelling, I have even cried out of frustration and still nothing. Every time I tell him how messed up hes being all he says is "OH my god" like I am doing something wrong.
I have been staying at my moms lately because of the work on the house that is going on and I feel that he thinks that since I am here, I am their responsibility. Are you kidding me??????? I am YOUR wife and this is YOUR child. I am at the point where I just told him that I will go to the hospital when I am in labor and not even try to call him anymore. He will miss the whole thing. I honestly feel like he could care less about any of this and I am tired of begging him to care.
Anyone elses dh like this????? I just cant imagine how he thinks I am wrong, he always tries to turn it around on me! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

and dont feel that he doesnt care, maybe he keeps forgetting to turn his phone on, or does he turn it off for any work-related reasons?
I hate when they turn it around to us being wrong, how annoying 
You did make me laugh about the nextel woman
 
Make sure he charges his phones tonite, and when he leaves in the morning, make sure they are turned on. and have the baby ask him if he will answer the phone today, maybe that will make him feel bad, to say no to his child

I have to be honest....I would totally do this. I'm serious. Sometimes they need a swift kick to the balls in order to get a clue What's his number, Noreen? He's going to have to deal with ME if he doesn't get his act together!

OMG...I could have written exactly what you wrote. I am 6.5 months preggo and yelled at dh yesterday once again for not responding to that damn cell phone. Helllllllllllooooo...could be an emergency!!!!!!! In fact for me what it was, was that me and my mother had a flat tire and were stranded on the side of the road. Whats wrong with these guys! BUT my dh...he is cute (sarcastic) for every mess up he sends flowers to my job! Mine also works 24/7 and I am mostly at my moms. This is ridiculous. Does yours promise that "Of course I will be their when the babies born"? so unpredictable.

I feel like this at times too. I don't know what is wrong with these men. I'm sorry your DH is being to unreliable.

I have this problem with my DH, too. He is a scatterbrain and tends to leave his phone in his car. I've been nagging him about it, and he's gotten better about it. Keep nagging him!

MEN My DH travels a lot for work and always turns off his phone when he goes to bed. I told him he can't do this anymore since anything could happen and I might need to reach him. His answer- what am I going to do far away?
I would be so frustrated too
