When will you stop working?
I have a meeting on Monday morning to determine my maternity leave dates. I'm not sure how long I should keep working. I can start my leave up to 30 days before my due date, then I get 30 days after the baby is born before my 12 week FMLA starts. All of this is unpaid of course, except for whaterver accumulated sick days I have. I work in a school so I'll get the summer off and won't have to go back until September. How soon before your due date are you going to stop working?

I stopped working 5 weeks before my due date. I'm due 11/11.

I am due 1/17 and my last day at work is December 16. I just started to put my leave of absense paperwork through.

Me, too. Conveniently, my edd is on the last day of school. I'm not planning to take any time off from work. I don't care if I pop in the middle of class

HI I am also a teacher in the dreaded Hempstead. Anyway they are not great about Mat leave so I will work as long as I can, I have 41 days in my back. this will take me to the 8 weeks given for a c-section. I then will take off a few weeks past unpaid. I am due Feb. 22 and will return in May. - shari

if you are a teacher i think you get three months off without a lapse in insurance. there is a law that is made just for that. I would like to wrk for as long as i can.; i am due june 14 so i will be missing the last days of school :(

I will work until the end, hopefully I will go into labor while at work so all i have to do is have someone wheel me over to Labor and Delivery!! I work in the hospital where I will be delivering...
