Anybody work for Verizon?
Anybody work for Verizon? I was looking at their website and I was wondering if anyone here was a call operator? Is verizon a good company to work for?

I work for Verizon. I ma a tech dispatcher. I hear the operater job is tough. A lot of calls to take each day but we make great $ and good benefits. I would do and it you can always transfer to another position later on.

I am not sure about that position, but my husband works for verizon and it is a great company to work for as far as benefits go.
My dad and his dad also worked for them and they both were able to retire in their early 50's:)

Do you know if they are hiring at all? It doesnt have to be for a call operator. That was just something that my mother in law mentioned to me yesterday

My husband says that he heard they have beeing hiring temps, but the best place to check is the website under careers. If you have any other questions feel free to send me FM.

I did, thanks...I just realized I posted this in the wrong forum whoops.
I put my resume on Verizons site and they are going to send me emails when jobs are available
