1st time doing bloodwork
Sorry if this seems silly, but I went for bloodwork yesterday. If something is off, will the office call me, or do they wait till my next appt. in a month? TIA

They will contact you if something is wrong.
They probably will not call you, if everything is ok

no they will call you. did they say how long it takes to get the results? I find that they usually only call when there is something wrong. I normally wait a week and call them. I'm sure everything will be fine...try not to worry.

great thanks! I was so overwhelmed durning the visit, the last appt. of the night and they rushed me out. They gave me so many directions my head was spinning.

i always follow-up with a call...
even though offices say they are going to only call if something is wrong, you never know when something may fall through the cracks!

thanks! It is weird, I really don't fear anything being wrong with the baby, I fear being blindsided, like I should have done this, or I should have known to do this....

I had 2 weeks b/c my bloodwork & my doctor appt. I didn't call-figuring if something was wrong, they'd call me- my doc went over everything when we had our meeting and everything was fine.

My doctors office has called after every test to let me know that they were all normal. I really like the fact that they call.
