Girls who are into scrapbooking...
what would you want as a gift-- like a new book, and some supplies or something?? Also- are there good sites to purchase this stuff from?
I was thinking of getting something scrapbook related for SIL.. I want to spend under $50 and it can't be too bulky since she needs to fly home with her gift..
I appreciate any ideas!!

I have to get the #.
I just saw on a commercial, I told DH I want it for Xmas.
A 3,000 piece set for $39.95
You get a book, and colored paper, letters, and words, and whole buch of pics and stuff.
I thought that was a gret price, considering some of the prices of the books alone can be very pricey.

A book at Michaels can cost $29 and it will be on sale....

I have seen them in a lot of places, Micheals had really nice ones. I may just buy a book on my own, and still get the 3000 pices, because all that stuff adds up to a lot of $$

No, the one I saw, comes with 3,000 pieces, it comes with lettering and words, and it does come with a guide and instructions on how to personalize your won book.
I will go find the #, because DH is sleeping already and I gave him the #, because I want it for Xmas.

As someone who scrapbooks - and has returned lots of presents  I just wanted to say - it might be helpful to know what brands/manufacturers she likes. The embellishments are easier because we all tend to make use of pretty much everything but when it comes to albums and even paper, some people (like me) are particular about what they use. Scrapbook items are my favorite to receive so I think you have a great idea and she will love it!!!!

I think a gift card to a Michaels, AC Moores, Hobby Lobby or Joannes (what ever she has near her) would be best. Like Ang says, people can be particular about brands and styles. And who knows what she has already. Unless you know she is going to be doing a big theme album, those QVC kits tend to be a bit too much of one design or item.
