what am I doing wrong??
ILast month I started testing day 12 and I never got 2 lines....I had a 27day cycle last month
now its day 14 I have been testing since day10 and still havent gotten 2 lines on the OPK
am I doing something wrong????

the $ store cheapies didnt ever work for me...although they have for others...

I've used answer too and never had a problem. But I've never had problems with ovulating regularly so I don't know if that really makes a difference or not

I never seemed to get a positive on my OPK.. either I was doing something wrong or I dont know...
You should try temping every morning.
You might get a better idea of whats going on

I agree with this ..
I have pretty irregular cycles to begin with, and for me the OPKs just never showed a clear surge line even when I used them for 10 or more days. The thing is, I KNEW I had ovulated (or was about to) because I was charting my temps and checking my CM, etc.. So it really does help to do all these things combined to really know for sure when your fertile period is.. relying on OPKs alone isn't always the most accurate way to pinpoint your "O" days..

Charting is probably the best way to get clear answers. Read Taking Control of Your Fertility. It is a great book about this stuff.

What time each day are you using the OPKs?
You could also be Oing later - some months I didn't O until cd19 or 20.
Also you should follow the directions with the OPKs as far as when to test - if I remember correctly, it says test between 12noon and 2pm - do not use FMU.
