anyone have one of the emergency cell phones?
i know there are cellphones out there that only allow you to call 911. does anyone have one of those?? i dont need a cellphone for anything other then driving in the car incase im in an accident, or get stuck.i was wondering if anyone had one and if it was worth it, and where i could find one, tia.

I think any cell phone will dial 911 whether it has service or not. So just see if anyone you know has an old cellphone lying around to give you

Get a prepaid phone. The initial cost of the phone these days is pretty cheap - I think you can get one for $50 or less. I have Virgin Mobile and I only have to pay $20 every three months to keep the phone active and to keep my #. I don't use it that much and to me it is worth this small amount to have it for emergencies and when I travel.

Ya i just really dont see the point of having one just for 911. I locked my keys in the car. You cant call 911 for that.. But I had to call someone.
My car broke down on the side of the northern state one day. Im not gonna call 911...
