OK...WHAT can I be doing to get this baby out?
Seriously...I walk EVERYDAY with the dogs or wherever I'm running errands.
Tried hittin' the husband up for his contribution, but with what's going on with him, it kind of hurts him

Honestly NOTHING. I tried everything and she came when she was ready. She will trigger the process when the time is right for her. Hang in there.

My twin swears by chinese acupuncture.
DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU ARE NEWLY PREGNANT and NOT LOOKING TO GO INTO LABOR....
The pressure point is between your thumb & your pointer finger - is a fleshy part. You're supposed to massage that area & it's supposed to stimulate the blood flow, utereus etc. When you're not pregnant, it's also supposed to be good for headaches.
Not sure if it really works. Another option is chiropractic - I still think that a bad adjustment put me into labor prematurely. Everyone swore it was 9-11 stress, but I was the only one not stressed walking around that day.

I tried everything!!!!!!!!!!! My water did break until I finally gave up and took a nap on the couch!
My honest advice is dont rush it - I think moms who are a little overdue have a little bit of an advantage - overdue babies tend to weigh more, sleep better, etc....

thats actually used to help with constipation as well (guess it has to do with stimulating the blood flow to that area?)

There's some eggplant recipe that they swear brings on labor. Let me see if I can find it.
ETA: Eggplant Parm Alla Scalini's (a restaurant in Cobb Cty, Ga. Maybe you are near there?) that the owners SWEAR have brought on labor for 300 babies!

you're not due til the 4th? You may have some time Shana ,especially since this is your 1st, but regardless, you'll be a mommy within the next 2-3 weeks guaranteed! Squats worked for me!!!! Non stop, low to the floor squats!

yeah you have some time dont rush it becuase when the baby comes you will forget about the wait. i know your pain becuase im in the home stretch too but cherish the quiet time now as it will be along time before you have it again.
