Hoyt Farm Park in Commack
Does anyone know when the water park there opens? This weekend maybe ??

I Called myself and they open at 9am saturday !!! 
Im hoping for some hot sun so we can go splash and jump in some puddles !

Its a town park.
Similar to other parks, playground, sandboxes, huge lawn for kites, picnics, concerts in summer, but last year they added a brand new little water section "sprinkler area" for the kiddies, so Im dying to take them. 
I know in most cases, you need a town sticker (smithtown), esp during prime season. but Ive heard many people park down the road and walk if they dont live in smithtown.

GET OUT!! We don't have anything comparative to that in Patchogue. We have the beaches and all but it's bay water and it's right by the Davis Park ferries Sort of nasty! I'll definitely have to check that out...maybe we could take the girly girls?

This weekend's a little crazy, but maybe next weekend. Does that work for you?

You missed the best part though. they have an animal section(pig, cow, bunnies, chicks) in the back and beautiful paths through the woods and around a big lake. They used to anyway. I grew up in Commack and used to go all the time
