I have a TMI situation with DH.....UPDATE
a few weeks ago he felt a lump in his private area. It was quite tender to the touch. Went to the Dr got antibiotics to treat a bacterial infection. It started to feel better, but he's done with the meds and the lump is still there and now he says it's starting to feel sore again.
He's nervous and wants me to go with him, which I am. I'm just worried that something more serious may be wrong with him.....
UPDATE
Ok...Dr sent us for an ultrsound and said most likely it's a benign cyst, but if it such--DH needs to go to a urologist. The ultrasound resluts will be back most likely tomorrow. We wanted to get it done to know and before any more progress with the baby happens. Other than that, he's fine--just scared

although it is scary i am sure it is nothing. was he referred to a specialist or is he going back to the same doctor? i would advise getting a second opinion.

I am sure its nothing, but I will be praying for him!!! TMI q--but does he "shave" down there..def could be some kind of ingrown hair that got infected

My friends boyfriend had this and it was a cyst, they said as long as it doesn't hurt too much or grow, they would leave it, no big deal.
It is possible that this is what your DH has. Please keep us updated.

It's probably nothing, but I can understand his concern. I had a lump in my armpit and I cried and cried because I was worried that it was a lump in my breast, etc... turns out it was just a clogged sweat gland  Our bodies do these weird things from time to time. Its probably nothing. I think the doctor appointment will be the scariest thing for him. Remember your first gyno appointment? But it will all be OK.
