places for baby shower
My mom and sis are planning my shower. they would like to have it at a resterant rather than someones house but want to keep the cost down. they are looking to have it somewhere on south shore - or close to that area anyway. not looking for anywhere too expensive. maybe around $15/person?? any good ideas? TIA!!!

maybe a chinease buffet- i called a bunch of places for my friends shower and there were none for that cheap. Maybe they can rent a hall and cook the food?

well, even up to $20/person - just nothing too pricey. someone else mentioned a chinese buffet. something for them to look into...

I did come across a few 19.95/pp, but that doesnt include tax, or gratuity.
Those are buffets. Villa Monico in West Islip, the Snapper Inn, and there was one other, but i forgor what it was.
They are out there- you just have to call a bunch of places.

I don't know how much $$ bu Pappa Razzi in Westbury seems very popular for baby showers --- whenever we have a TTC GTG there, there are some going on!

I called a bunch of places and $15 is hard to find. I didnt find any. They mostly range from 20-30 +tax and gratuity.

check out places like bertucci's macaroni grill and any other italian restuarants in your neighborhood that have a party room. Sometimes if you have aneough people, a local restuarant might also be willing to work with you (say 40 people!) and keep their restaurant closed for lunch on a sat (a friend of mine had this happen at her shower!)

VERY hard to find that price at a venue-Can you have it at someones house? we got GREAT catered food for my friend's shower from The Sexy Salad in Hauppague
