I know its a bit early, but places for V-Day dinner...
Just wondering where everyone is going.... I have no idea where to go this year.
Looking for suggestions in Queens or Western Nassau area.

i like giordinos in douglaston i like cafe on the green bayside( $$) i also like Baci by roosevelt feild very resoanble but gets crowded

Il Toscano on Douglaston Pkwy north of Northern Blvd, right next to the Douglaston LIRR train station ... yummmmm
Il Bacco on Northern Blvd, a few doors east of Little Neck Parkway. - excellent!

Going to Mortons.

I have to ask DH if he made reservations for Vday or the day before. which day are you going on vday? last year we went to Coles House and ahhhhh so romantic and good food but we want steak this year. But b/c of DH work schedule I think we are going the night before.

I love Giordano's too, but I've been there a million times for dinner, baby showers, bridal showers, bday parties, etc.
I think I may try the place by the Douglaston LIRR station... I've passed it!

I love Giardino's, but I find it gets sort of loud - not really a quiet, romantic dinner, unless you go early.
Caffe on the Green has excellent food, but we were there 2 years ago on V-day and it was CRAZY! They do a buffet dinner/party open ot anyone upstairs and a regular dinner downstairs. We were at the regular dinner and while I loved the food, we barely saw the waiter and it was so loud.
One of the places we like a lot is Nick and Maggie's in New Hyde Park. West End Cafe in Carle Place and Sullivan's Quay in Port Washinton are good too.
